Advocacy Activities
Albanian Construction Association has devoted substantial efforts to the representation of members´ interests. It addresses them to respective government institutions and allows itself to become a growing influential voice in the Albanian economy and significant contributor to the improvement of the overall business environment in Albania.
In this aspect ACA has engaged in identification of construction firm’s concerns regarding issues that affect their operations.
This has been done via establishing effective channels of communication with members and collection of systematic information individually or organisation of roundtables. A number of press conferences, publication in media, roundtables etc have increased the public awareness about various construction firms’ concerns. These concerns have been them addressed and dialogued in various technical and decision making levels of central and local government, parliamentarian groups, from the line Ministers to Prime Minister.

The result of this 4 years work is the associations´ growth and consolidation, its spread all over the country, becoming this way more and more the representative and advocate of the interests regarding construction business.
Today the construction business represents 8.1 % of the GDP. 50% of constructing companies are members of the association; they perform 2 / 3 of constructing activities nationally.
However, this achievement is only the first step, because our intention is to be present wherever constructing problems are discussed.
